Best known for helping other businesses building sustainable growth, our team has again hit their own highly ambitious growth target for the past financial year 2015/16. We keep growing on a double digit growth year on year and this would never be possible if it wasn’t for the dedication and hard work of our people.
On the back of last year’s achievements, we decided to give something back, so we took the durhamlane team on a company trip to the French Alps. The excitement and anticipation was clearly felt in our office in Newcastle weeks before we actually headed off to the picturesque village called Chamonix.
At durhamlane our employees go first. As a people business we understand how important it is to create a highly motivated team and to strengthen personal bonds. I leave this with a quote from Richard Branson:
"If the person who works at your company is 100% proud of the job they’re doing, if you give them the tools to do a good job, they’re proud of the brand, if they were looked after, if they’re treated well, then they’re gonna be smiling, they’re gonna be happy and therefore the customer will have a nice experience."
We strongly believe in this approach. Although a little bit marked by the weekend, the durhamlane members came back to work with great memories and a positive hunger to top last year’s achievement.
