This time the challenge is the gruesome Newcastle Stampede taking place at Newcastle racecourse this Sunday, all in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
The gruelling and very muddy 10k ‘Stampede’ event is filled with challenging obstacles designed by the Outdoor Fitness Company, and is something our outsourced sales teams have been looking forward to for a while now. Let’s just say it has sparked some rather competitive office discussions!
The cause holds such a high place in many of our team member’s hearts, that when our Sales manager Tony Usher made the initial suggestion about taking part in the event, the whole team had signed up within just a few minutes, and now the guys can’t wait to get muddy! Our team has already raised a great pot of money through sponsorship and donations, and with a few days to go we are hopeful we can raise even more!
Oh and don’t think it’s just the spring chickens of the office doing the stampede either, our two managing partners Richard Lane and Lee Durham, have also signed up for the what I’m sure is going to be an epic test of fitness and team spirit!
So if you are attending the event, keep an eye out for team @durhamlane, and give us a cheer (we’ll need your support I’m sure!).
